Music Activities

The students sit down in a circle and give a newspaper sheet to each other trying not to make any noise (purpose: pause, attention, concentration).
Arrange the group in a circle where each student holds a newspaper sheet and everyone takes turn in producing an original sound that has not been previously produced. The aim of the activity is to find original sounds produced by a newspaper with different ways of moving the material (blowing air, tearing, crumpling, etc.
Use percussion instruments in the lyrics “έχει χίλια πρϊόντα... όλα είναι φιξ” (exei chilia proionta ola einai phix) and “εχουν χίλια προϊόντα...όλα είναι φιξ” (exoun chilia proionta ola einai phix).
Divide the class into groups, each group creates a small song-advertisement for a product of the kiosk and presents it to the class.
