Music Activities

Arrange in a circle. Utilize the patterns of tzi-tzi-tzi and tri-tri-tri with gentle rhythmic movements in various parts of the body (head, shoulders, knees, legs) while each student will have to make their own movements using their own body or on a friend.
Perform the song with choreography (e.g. in a circular arrangement, in the first part of each verse the group has to walk right or left, and in the second part of the verse the group has to make rhythmic movements on the spot).
The children are divided into two groups, the tzitzikia and the trizonia. Each group sings the melody of the song with its own voice, the tzitzikia with the syllable "tzi", and the trizonia with the syllable "tri". They usually sing every two bars. The conductor leads the group showing the input of the voices and the variations in the volume and tempo.
Perform the song with percussion instruments using different tones or musical instruments for each animal mentioned.
Listen to the sounds of cicadas and crickets from recordings coming from different areas and times of the day.
Create a soundscape with insects that appeared during the summer (cicadas, crickets, mosquitoes, bees, etc.).
